The open circuit potential transients and cathodic potentiodynamic pulses were measured upon formaldehyde (methylene glycol) interaction with pre-adsorbed oxygen (Oads) on Pt/Pt and pc Pt electrodes in aqueous sulfuric acid solutions. The slowest interaction of CH2(OH)2 with Oads was observed in the high coverage range of the electrode surface (θO ~ 0.2 0.8 to 1). The process rate in this range is determined by the direct reaction of Oads with CH2(OH)2 molecules from the bulk solution. In the middle surface oxygen coverage range (θO 0.2 to 0.8), CH2(OH)2 interaction with Oads takes place by the mechanism of “conjugated reactions”. The kinetic parameters of reactions for CH2(OH)2, HCOOH, and CH3 OH were compared. The rate of CH2(OH)2-Oads interaction on Pt electrodes in the high oxygen coverage range was found higher by an order of magnitude than that of HCOOH and by two orders of magnitude than in the case of CH3OH. 相似文献

Constant phase elements (CPEs) with impedance ZCPE=1/(Qsαf) are widely used to explain electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) data. It has long been known that different circuits can explain EIS data in an equivalent manner because they exhibit identical impedance for all frequencies (two-terminal non-distinguishable (TTND) circuit). Equivalent circuits containing two CPEs are considered here. TTND circuits containing two CPEs become distinguishable, at least theoretically, if the CPE exponents are different. The experimental distinguishability of these circuits is discussed. The 12 transformation formulae between the four circuits containing two CPEs and two resistors are given for CPEs with equal exponents. 相似文献

The output energy of photovoltaic (PV) modules is influenced by the spectral irradiance distribution of the solar spectrum under outdoor conditions. To rate the precise output energy of PV modules, the correction of short circuit current (ISC) based on actual environmental conditions is needed, because ISC significantly depends on the shape of the spectral irradiance distribution. The average photon energy (APE) is a zero-dimensional index for spectral irradiance distribution, and APE value uniquely describes the shape of a solar spectrum. Thus, APE has an impact on ISC of PV modules. In this contribution, the relationship between APE coefficient and ISC of the multi-crystalline silicon, single-crystalline silicon, heterojunction intrinsic thin-layer, back contact, copper indium selenide and cadmium telluride PV modules has explored. It is revealed that APE value changes the ISC of PV modules which appeared to have immense possibilities of ISC correction using APE coefficient. An angular‐shaped naphthalene tetracarboxylic diimide (NDI) was designed and synthesized as a new building block for n‐type conjugated polymers to tune their energy levels. Three n‐type copolymers incorporating this angular‐shaped NDI as the acceptor moiety were obtained by Stille coupling reactions and had number average molecular weights of 18.7–73.0 kDa. All‐polymer bulk‐heterojunction solar cells made from blends of these polymers with poly(3‐hexylthiophene) gave a power conversion efficiency up to 0.32% and exhibited an open‐circuit voltage (Voc) up to 0.94 V due to their relative high‐lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy levels. The high Voc of 0.94 V is higher than that of solar cells based on linear‐shaped NDI‐containing polymers (<0.6 V). The results indicate that the angular‐shaped NDI is a promising building block for constructing nonfullerene polymer acceptors for solar cells with high open‐circuit voltages. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
